Take the flour in a
mixing bowl, add butter and rub in with your fingertips till the mixture resembles breadcrumbs. Add salt and mix.
Add milk and mix light
to make soft dough. Cover the dough bowl with a cling film and keep in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes.
Heat oven to 200º C.
Grease a baking tray.
Dust a little flour on
the worktop, place the dough on it and roll out the dough to about 0.5 cm thickness. Take care to roll in only one direction, and roll once and turn, again roll once and turn – thus by keeping the dough moving, you can avoid it getting stuck.
Spread cheese on top,
sprinkle some paprika powder on it and then roll up like a sausage along the long side. Slice and place them on the greased baking tray.
Keep the tray in the
preheated oven and bake until it turns golden and the cheese melts.
Insert a toothpick on
each roll and arrange them on a serving platter and serve. Or you can store them in an airtight container upto 3 days.
